Aftek has successfully ported Android on Intel Atom x 86 platforms. Aftek has developed a hardware platform based on Intel Atom processor and then customized Android BSP for it. Extensive experience of Linux BSP has enabled Aftek to develop a variety of solutions based on Android BSP. The hardware supports various interfaces like Ethernet, touchpad, Bluetooth, audio, video and USB host facilitating wide range of applications.

Android BSP for Atom processor

Google Android is an open source and configurable mobile platform based on Linux 2.6. Android offers a full stack including an operating system, middleware and key applications. Android also includes Dalvik virtual machine for Java application. Atom process is widely used in embedded applications related to industry/home automation, various control systems etc.
